At My Piano Room, music is more than just a series of lessons; it’s a language of performance and creativity.

 

As a specialist in early childhood piano education,

I believe in nurturing a child’s natural curiosity while building a rock-solid technical foundation.

 

My approach is deeply informed by my diverse career in the professional music and theater industry. Beyond the piano bench, I serve as a

Music Director and I am an active Composer and Sound Designer for theatre productions.

 

This 'behind-the-scenes' expertise allows me to teach my students not just how to play, but how to listen, perform with confidence, and understand the architecture of the music they create.

 

Whether preparing a student for their first ABRSM exam or guiding them toward a showcase at the Esplanade, my goal is to ensure every student finds their unique voice and a lifelong love for the keys.

Beyond my own teaching, I am committed to elevating the standard of music education across my entire studio.

 

Every member of the My Piano Room team is personally mentored and trained by me. We conduct regular internal training sessions focused on modern pedagogy, child psychology, and effective teaching strategies. This ensures that every student, regardless of their teacher, receives a consistent, high-quality experience rooted in the same philosophy of joy and excellence."
