I approached My Piano Room with the belief that learning music is a lifelong journey and that it's more important that children appreciate music rather than memorise it. 

 

Teacher Serene has a unique way of engaging the kids and teaching them the fundamentals without being monotonous or dry. My daughter loves going to piano class and she quickly grasps what Serene is teaching during the lessons. This ensures that she builds a strong foundation for appreciating music rather than rush through the exams.

 

In the year that she's been attending My Piano Room, I have seldom needed to urge her to practice. She picks up her songs and plays them randomly and it's truly a joy to feel her enjoyment and pride after she 'performs' each song for me.

 

I am confident that My Piano Room will be a good partner as my child embarks on her musical journey
